The English FA has started a compaign to promote respect toward referees, recognizing that improper behavior toward referees has led to a lack of available referees to officiate games. No referees; no games.

On Sunday evening, October 12th, while watching England's National Team play in a World Cup qualifier, the electronic sign boards around the perimeter of the field often read, "No Respect - No Referee, No Game." This movement is real and catching on... FINALLY!
Yes John, I saw the same thing and was amazed. That's what got me to go to the FA site where I found the whole program explained.
The fact that England's national soccer federation saw fit to institute such a program is testament to how large this issue is.............and world wide!
Imagine putting together a similar skit with real players for a basic coach clinic. Fun and educational for the coaches and the players.
